BM #1 - AAE - Day 6 - Vermicili Upma

Upma is a common South Indian breakfast dish, cooked as a thick porridge from dry roasted semolina. Various seasonings and/or vegetables are often added during the cooking, depending on individual preferences. Though traditionally semolina (sooji or rava) is used, Upma is being now made with various other ingredients like vermicilli.

Vermicelli upma is a simple, healthy and nutritious breakfast recipe. It is easy on the stomach, high in fibre and low in calories.
