BM #1 - AAE - Day 1 - Fresh Fruit Salad

The best way to use up all your left over fruits which are more than 3 days old is to put them all together and come up with a nice fruit salad. With the cost of fresh fruits sky rocketting, you wouldn't like to waste any of it.

Since this is my first post for my Blogging Marathon, I wanted to start it on a sweet note. Read more about my BM #1 - Anything And Everything - 30-day challenge.

This fresh fruit salad is healthy and can be made instantly.


Ingredients:
3 cups of fresh fruits of your choice,
2-3 tbsp honey,
8 scoops of plain vanilla icecream,
1-2 tbsp chopped nuts, (optional), I have not used


Method:
  1. Wash clean, cut/peal, all the fruits and keep them seperately in individual bowls. Set aside in the refrigerator.
  2. At the time of serving, in the serving bowl, add 2 scoops of vanilla icecream at the base.
  3. Top it up with the fresh fruits one by one.
  4. Drizzle the honey and garnish with chopped nuts.
  5. Serve immediately.


Serve it as a mid day snack or dessert, its absolutely delicious. Try it at home today, I am sure you will relish it :-)
